CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Participants are invited to submit original abstracts for oral and/or poster presentation.

The deadline for abstract submission is Sunday 9 MAY 2027.

Guidelines for Abstract submission

Authors are requested to conform to the following guidelines for submission of abstracts:

  • Only abstracts submitted online will be considered for inclusion in the programme.
  • The abstract must be submitted in English.
  • The word limit for abstracts is 300 words.
  • The system allows you to edit and save your abstract but once the abstract has been submitted for review, editing will not be possible.

  • All abstracts will be reviewed.
  • Please note that a limited number of poster presentations will be accepted.
  • Notification of acceptance or rejection by the Local Scientific Committee will be mailed to the presenting author from Friday 21 May 2027.
  • We strongly encourage submitting authors to register via the online registration system simultaneously with the abstract submission.
  • Presenting authors must register by Tuesday 15 June 2027 to be included in the academic program.
  • The time allotted (between 10-20 minutes) for each oral presentation will depend on the session to which the abstract is allocated - you will be advised once your abstract is accepted.

SORSA - Bortz Award - Best oral presentation in Clinical Radiography

Celebrating excellence in clinical radiography, the Bortz Award recognises oral presentations of clinical radiographers, that share ideas, innovations and practices that contribute to the advancement of the profession and radiography practice. Submissions are not limited to traditional research and may include best practice, service development, clinical innovation, quality improvement, or other alike presentations. The award highlights the knowledge, creativity and expertise of radiographers in a clinical department.
